Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is Wells Fargo basically just g h e t t o?

Sometimes people confuse that word with simply being poor. Such is not the case though. Plenty of people with money still exhibit strong vibes of g h e t t o.

Sometimes when people are poor, they buy things (gawdy clothing, old beat up luxury cars, etc.) to appear to have money/prestige even though it's obvious to everyone else that they don't. This is g h e t t o.

That's how I see Wells. Every department is told to "do more with less" so that we can fool investors into thinking Wells is a stronger brand than it is. By cheaping out on everything, Wells wants to look more financially successful than it really is.

Offshoring, hotel cubes, junky software, etc. are all Wells' version of a rusted out Mercedes with 300k miles that can't go faster than 40mph. But hey! It says 'Mercedes' on it!

It's frustrating working for a g h e t t o bank, but the corporate job market is poor right now.

I hate to support the doomsday people, but I do feel like Charlie's actions are gutting the company, reducing the quality of its products and output. All the while putting a US mask on processes taking place in India and The Philippines.

No, this is a plantation. Charlie and cronies live in their mansions, all the rest live in servant houses and barns.

This was on full display recently in my department - we had some fire drill at the end of the year that required app hands on deck. Too bad almost everyone on the team in the US quit during the year and were never replaced. As a result they had to scramble to find 2-3 to make them stop their current workload to help out on another. The sh-tshow never ends.

As they say, you can take a Wells Fargo employee out the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out a Wells Fargo employee.

Must be a lot of ghetto corporations then. If you think Wells is the first to go with offshoring and hotel cubes, then you're in for a surprise if you move companies.
