Must be given? Why? Is 9 months really going to make or break your life? Why don't you repay Ford the 9 months for time complaining you do.
OP. You are not getting a package because you have signaled you are leaving this year. Either that or no one else wants to do your dead end job - you certainly don't. You will get a package next year when your project wraps up. You can take the pension, since lump sum will be too small at that time.
OP. Seriously - Why must it be provided? We get it you are unhappy, but look at your house and family and everything Ford has provided already. Like Ford or not - choose to be satisfied, and go your own path.
You would be shocked to know how many have not decided yet.
Give it up, clown. Either you want the lump sum and want to leave now or you want to keep working. You have already made your choice so why does Ford need to provide you with incentive?
