Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Laid off, unable to access Workday to get my final W-2 for taxes

I was laid off last year and still had access to workday all of 2024 even well after my 60-day notice period. I was led to believe I would still have access now so that I can download my final W-2 to file my taxes, but instead I'm getting a message saying I no longer have a Workday account. Has anyone else experienced this?

I just want my final W-2 so I can be done with Wells Fargo and never think about that place ever again.

I called HR to confirm last week. It’s going snail mail to all displaced employees.

Call HR. Is it a long wait, yes. Is it a painful conversation, yes. Will it get you your access or W2, possibly.

There is no such thing as a login to Teamworks@Home. It's just a simple text page with links to other websites:

https://teamworks.wellsfargo.com/

To access your W-2, the only thing Teamworks can provide is the link to Workday. So the OP is right, it is Workday that you must log in to. The top of the Teamworks page even says right on it to log into Workday to get your W-2.

On the workday login page it says "Employees on a leave of absence (without system access), displaced employees on a nonworking notice (without system access), and former employees: "

So Workday is designed to work as the tool for providing access to former employees so they can get their W-2. The fact that it's broken is just another example of how careless Wells Fargo is with its data and how they don't do anything right.

First and foremost you should have verified everything works before your last actual day and realistically once a year or more anyways.

Second, are conflating Teamworks@Home with Workday? If so that is where you are wrong. You need to access Teamworks@Home and look at the options presented, choose the appropriate one and go from there.

I guess I didn’t expect to have access past my 60 days.

Expect it via snail mail by 31 Jan.

I was laid off in 2023 and had to reset my account. WF provided the link.
