Wells Fargo is top heavy with too many lazy, dishonest, toxic Sr. managers and executives who are contaminating the environment. Wells will be always toxic as long as those rotten ones exist. Since Carrie T, we had a ton of initiatives to correct the company's culture, but the abuse seems to be getting worse.
@cg+1jh0rqaaw, are you the toxic Sr. manager? if so, just shut up and get lost. We don't need your kind.
@cd+1jh0rqaaw sounds like a you problem at that point. If you can't see it coming...
Remind you, layoff decisions are always based on favoritism, politics or discrimination. Hard work and accomplishments mean absolutely nothing, especially at Wells Fargo.
You are correct. At Wells Fargo, it's not about right or wrong. It's all about who has more power and control.
@cd+1jh0rqaaw, That's because this toxic Sr. manager had powerful friends at Wells Fargo. This whole company is rotten to the core, it's like a mafia organization. They always use the "do you know who I am?" line.
You caused a ton of issues for everyone around you. It just made good business sense to rid of you
Last year, I was constantly bullied and harassed by one Sr. manager. I filed a complained to Ethics Line. That's when my nightmare started. Nothing was done to correct the issue. Instead, this Sr. manager retaliated me with giving me a bad performance review with fake stories. Then I was moved to a different team and he got promoted. A few months later, I was asked to start training an Indian guy. When I was finished with this guy, they said my position was eliminated. What kind of BS is this?
@bg+1jh0rqaaw,
Same here. I was the only one located in the West Coast and all other team members were located in other time zones (the East Coast, the Philippines and India). Because I had a huge time zone difference with them and had to have frequent 4am meetings in the morning. So I was given a few options: relocate to the east coast, find a new job within a different LOB, or leave the company. I had to make the decision within 30 days. There is no way I would relocate my family. I looked around equivalent jobs in other LOBs, but they were all located in other regions and required 3 days in the office. So I ended up leaving the bank whether I have a new job or not. But you know what? I really don't care anymore, I actually feel much better that I am no longer with this toxic bank.
They say you get laid off due to performance rating but while some ratings are deserved others are not. You manager may have written a really good review but by the time it gets sent to upper management..they change it to what they want....it's inconsistently meets or lower. Its true. They have to have so many low ratings
I was cut because all my development team members were located in other regions and I was the only one in my time zone. I was told to relocate, but I refused. So they said "buh buy".
Lies
I love all these bs ambiguous posts
Technology lob was impacted today.
Which teams where laid off today?
It does not mean a poor performance rating. It means they had to cut some costs and based on the criteria you don't make the cut. The highest weight right now is are you in a hub for your lob.
"Pink slip" does that mean you are fired or does it mean you are laid off. There is a difference here.
What lob / group? "My team was impacted" isn't terribly useful.
What team?
That means you all were getting a low performance rating. Dog in your heels at the next role. Good luck.
3 people in my team impacted today.
