“ Have they made positive changes in the office environment to welcome their valued employees back?”

When some are telling their “valued” employees to come back in or quit it makes you wonder how many positive changes are being made.

I'd love to know how office space is being managed by these other companies. Are they also cramming their employees into inadequately sized drop-in spaces? Are they lining them up elbow to elbow on cafeteria style tables with monitors haphazardly thrown on top? Are they cleaning and sanitizing? Have they made positive changes in the office environment to welcome their valued employees back or are they just treating them like cattle and having them fend for themselves like at T?

I don’t mind coming to the office 5 days a week. But I will not comply with the order to report to the office that is thousands miles away from my house, just because some psychopath thinks it is ok.

And? Doesn’t mean that’s the correct thing to do; especially with teams being dispersed globally and all over the country. Tons more companies still fully remote and hybrid and have stated they have no intention to go back. That is the future. The old companies trying to hold on to their old ways is all this is. It will fail.
