If it is designated as a drop in, its first come first serve. I don’t care if your team needs to sit together or you’ve sat there for months. There’s a new influx into the office and we are all in the same situation.

Well, have a day you deserve. If you think being righteous and correcting "adult" peoples behavior would mean compliance from them, think about it. They already broke the rule of leaving stuff at drop in desk. Be ready to get into a fight then and be fired.

Take their chair if it's a good one and exchange it with a cr-ppy one. Had someone pull this on me before when i had an assigned desk. This is going to get ugly! LOL

If you come in early, just trash whatever is on the desk and then go sit on a different floor. That will teach them to leave things overnight on a public desk.

That is exactly what they want from you. Get into a fight with someone, get fired (both of you), win for AT&T. I advise you to not provoke people. There have been several fights in Alpharetta when they implemented the desk "reservation" a year ago. Both of those folks got fired, police got called and now Alpharetta I am sure there is a heavy police car presence patrolling now.

Tell the person that has their name plate or business card up.
CRE had to send another email to all reporting to my location yesterday that all spaces are drop in only, there are no assigned seats, and there should be no personal items left at any space.
