Why Chicago is not a hub

With Madigan and former AT&T Illinois President on trial for bribery, Stankey is no longer able to pursue his agenda in Illinois. He decided to cut Chicago off. This is pure politics.

If all employers move out of chicago, should all jobs be in one state? That is absurd. Corruption is everywhere. No one told T to have so many office locations in one city. If CRE was an issue, have one building.

Illinois does not tax any retirement income, good for retirees. But, the Ameritech bulding was sold along with the down town office between the two public Metra rails stations. With the land so valuable; easier to sell off. If you need cash, sell a few valuable properties; not many low value offices.

Chicago and Illinois made their bed with absurd tax rates and corruption. Sorry you are having to lie in it, but it is the correct business decision to get out of there ASAP.

I wonder who is paying for the legal team of La Schiazza. He was doing what Stankey told him to do. I guess T picked up the tab.

It has nothing to do with that. Consolidation is the strategy. Chicago is not important.
