Are you in a core location? Do you go to office 3 days per week. If no to either of those questions then you should know your performance doesn’t matter to the layoff question.

Exceeds and being a high performer, gives you leverage to make more money. That would make you more of a liability here IMO. They don't want to pay big raises. They're trying to move jobs overseas to pay lower salaries. Exceeds will only look good to your next employer. It will probably get you voted most likely to be displaced for cost cutting going on.

Layoffs are based on factors other than performance. Last year our team displaced someone who received a consistently exceeds.
