RCSA boost was a separate one time payment
Your boss was referring only to yours.
Some people got "RCSA" boosted bonuses last year, allegedly. It's possible that such an employee will see a significant drop this year just due to the lack of that element of their bonus. I have no solid info, just a theory.

Better than the 2.5% at JPM.
What are the chances of the C-suite deciding to give the peons a $1000.00 bonus like they did last year? As a peon myself, it sure would be nice especially since the raises will be rather small.
A bit lower here in CIB but manager said no “dramatic,” so assume maybe a few percentage points less than last year.
Entirely untrue as it was relatively flat as last year (small decrease, but nothing substantial). Honestly sounds like your manager is trying to provide a BS excuse for why he/she is giving you a much smaller bonus this year (which means they’re allocating elsewhere in your org somewhere - not necessarily your direct team, but someone in the overall org for which your bonus pool was set for.

How would you even know your amount yet?! They don’t tam us until the end of January just before the pay voucher would be published.
They could be just telling you that. Or, yeah, they might not have bonuses at target levels.
I'll bet the C-suite isn't having anything cut.
That is absolutely ridiculous. You know the leaders bonus was cut.
I heard we have to pay back half of last year's bonus, with interest.
