I drive a brand nee BMW. On my way through the the parking lot, I heard 3 people chatting and recognized a couple nasty words that were clearly directed in an indirect way to me.
My point is, why do you have to hate hard workers or those who earned their money? Yes, I drive a 100K+ vehicle but I paid it from my own money.
We need to learn that it’s fine that some people are paid more then others, and no I didn’t have to kiss the executive hands to get what I have today.
With posts like these, as well as responses from HON employees like these below as well, you both deserve to be at HON. No doubt HON is cr-p now and no doubt you all ride this website on daily basis to post and to respond to such things. You guys deserve each others and deserve HON.

I do not believe that anything you have said is true. You are simply an HR troll. Probably trying to fix the inability to hire engineers by casting doubt on the engineers that are posting here? I know that we have not been able to hire decent engineers and I suspect that engineers are smart enough to search out a company prior to getting a job. Their searches will inevitably bring them here and they will get the truth about Honeywell.

OP, it's actually been years since I've encountered someone so out of touch with reality. Why do you assume that we all do manual labor, lack multiple college degrees, make very little, and are jealous of you? Many of us here are Band 4 and above and can buy all the toys we want, but choose to conduct ourselves and our finances with more class.

Puh-leeze! We all understand that some people make more than others. It doesn't necessarily mean you work harder but you were either smart enough or sufficiently full of bluster to land a high paying role. Many of us, myself included, can afford expensive toys, but have other priorities when it comes to spending and saving.

The majority of responses (not everyone) here gave me an indication of the type of people who visit this websites and act like they know everything and share advise or recommendation on what we should do. Going forward I will take everything on this website with a grain of salt because the majority of responses are coming from people that were born with a shoes inside their brain.
I don’t care about what you all think and I am not even offended by any of the nasty responses down below. The reason I posted this here is not because I wanted to brag (nobody knows who I am) but only to deliver a message that if you see others riding nicer vehicles or wearing better clothes than you, it does not mean that they were stealing that money from your pocket. This is their own money. If you have a problem with your income, go find another job. Stop feeling jealous for those who are well paid or can afford better stuff than you can. Life sometimes is not fair (I get that) but never ever should anyone show hate towards others only because of what others have. While note all highly paid people deserve it, the majority of people worked hard to earn with they got and at least their resume made them qualified enough for their position or salary level.
I do not need to look at my reputation. I am happy with everything I have achieved and what I have, and all I am asking for is for others to stop being nasty to other people who seem to earn more money than you. There is always someone making more money than you. I am happy with my reputation and money isn’t everything. My H-index if you even know what that means is higher than 99% of all HON employees and my list of publications and reports in my field are heavily cited. Hence, I have got nothing to prove to anyone. Again all am asking is for others to leave people who seem to be well-paid alone. Many of us have deserved it! We did NOT steal money from your pocket. Many of us worked hard to earn it while you are just sharing nasty words on these websites or laughing and spreading nasty words in the parking lot.
Seeing pity for my 2004 Nissan pickup truck... The guys in my parking lot look at me and laugh. They are driving $80k + pickup trucks, $1000 or higher monthly payments. Inside I laugh because I haven't had a car payment in 20 years or a mortgage in 15 years. I also have some fun toys. But no one at work will ever see them. ($10k mountain bike, 2nd gen Corvette) I never worry about what other people think or say. Don't have to worry about my next paycheck either. BTW I used to have a BMW 2007 335i Convertible. It was really fun but the maintenance costs were too high for my taste.
