Restructure the management team by letting go of incompetent engineering managers as their high salaries are contributing to the strain on engineers. Additionally, shift focus away from outsourcing to India and prioritize domestic talent.

BE has been reviewing all engineer titles and code committed to dev. What she saw was out of over 900+ positions only a fraction were committing code and she stated that's a huge waste of resources. So, reducing engineering managers (people managers) may be in the cards this year. They are also moving to apply Lean methodology which means flattening the organization.
I swear most meetings I'm on are 30-40% managers, who all have their own agendas and they just slow everything down. A huge percentage of them need to go.
Makes sense to me to have sales people around mainly. Someone’s gotta pay the bills around here for all these bloated tech and risk folks
TK will go from making generative AI models to acquiring robo-tellers and/or robo-ATMS. Just look at her LinkedIn profile. Sure she just joined the Nitwit (NCWIT) board. But check out her education. Industrial and Operations Engineering, Engineering. A Wolverine will take away ALL of your jobs..... AI is more than just "tech".
They can't get rid of her cause they have put so much effort into her. I doubt they will let her go.
Shart doesn't want any domestic talent outside of sales gigs. That's it. Everything else will be contracted out outsourced.
Agreed with OP except I would like to see even more expansion into India and the Philippines. Lots of good talent there.
