I believe if a contractor has bean working here for 2 years the contract will not be renewed and they are released from their position. At that point, they will need to find a new role.
Contractors don’t get laid off. They are not employees. Their contracts don’t get renewed or they’re cancelled. It’s part of the contract that they agreed to. It’s part of being a contractor. They know it’s a possibility.
Yes WellsFargo is firing contractors.

At least in Tech, when they reduce headcount they start with MRS and SOW contractors.
