Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Anyone have any info on what the upcoming town ball is about? Worried about possible RTO similar to JPM.

something like that would never be announced in a town hall. it would cascade thru management.

Not being discussed at present at the OC level... however, what is being discussed is lack of compliance with 3 day attendance.

This is how it works: the more people resist, the harder it comes down. And every LOB currently has the flexibility/authority to require more than 3 days - it says it right on teamworks - company policy is "MINIMUM" of 3 days per week.

We desk share, and another dies right next to us. I honestly don't think they have the space. They are forcing people with accommodations to come in at least twice a week.

Anyone who thinks Shart face would announce 5 day RTO in a town hall is a complete fool. He doesn't have the guts to do so in person and will have it sent via Teamworks communication or mass email. This will more than likely be communicated in March for May RTO.

If we have to go 5 days a week, 8 hour days on my hub, we are gonna have to sit on each other's lap and park cars on the side walk. 🤷‍♀️

No worries, they will just cut folks to free up desks and parking space until it’s right sized.

@b8 you will be going to a 3 shift model like a manufacturer. 6am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, and then 10-6 am. The union negotiated this in the new contract. That will leave enough space for everyone and lots of parking.

Look at guest list. CFO talking earnings
Any RTO will be in email so they haven’t got to face the crowd

The WF Town Ball is going to be a spectacular, formal, Black Tie event. I plan to do the waltz.

Data Centers in Texas is quite a strange idea considering the Texas power grid failed miserably over the past couple years. Especially when it gets cold.

It’s his normal timed town hall. Given it’s in Dallas across the street from the new big Los Colinas campus opening this year I’m sure it’s tied around that.
As far as 5 day RTO, everyone is wondering

@a2+1jhn656bw - that's all part of the plan. they are expecting to displace 40% of their US workforce to I&P

Not sure how that would work. Some areas just don't have the capacity for full RTO. They've sold off parking, closed down parts of buildings, removing all tech from there.
