Bonus Transparency

U.S. based Job Grade Level: I

Ireland L grade - 20 years experience

€80k
1% increase
€5k bonus

$ to € is virtually the same rate at the moment for transparency. Cost of living crisis and housing emergency in the country but at least we all get to calloborate with the virtual locations we spend most time working with.

Oh you thought 72k was the low end for grade I? That’s hilarious. Try 61k, 2k bonus, met expectations.

NYC J grade
Base $125k, 2% raise
Bonus $26.5k, 4% increase from last year. Essentially the same bonus I got as an I grade last year.

Expected a lot more of an increase in both

@bd+1jhntknkd Yes. I made your salary as a G. Others I know who are also a I claim to be over $100k and are in shock when I tell them my salary.

Wait — So you’re a job grade level I and make 85K as a salary but you’re saying 85K is the “lower end”? I thought my 72K was the ultimate lower end.

Dang. That su-ks. I’m the same grade but make $13,000 more but only get a $1,000 to 2,000 bonus which I thought was awful. And I think I’m making lower end for the grade amongst others I know. Guess it’s all perspective. Aren’t more taxes being taken out of a bonus than salary? The bonus sounds high but it’s not guaranteed and highly taxed. It might be giving a false sense of achievement.

TSG engieering, level L (SVP), 2-3 years experience.

Bonus between $20k and $30k, exact same as 2023
Salary increase 2.4%, less than 2023

from what i hear it is the same for everyone in engineering; all bonuses between 8-12%, all raises between 1.5% and 3%.

2k bonus- this all depends on how long you have been bonus eligible. How long you have been with BNY and most importantly, how big your team is. I know a handful of people getting bonuses from 30-50k (not in NY, they are in “low cost” areas. The one thing that they benefit from is having small teams. Service teams and people on the phones will never see that.

What departments are you all working in with 10-12K bonuses???

My bonus was a measley 2K consistently. I never got even close to that number.

Around the same for me. 75k 2.75% increase and 10k bonus. Meets expectations.
I know bonus varies by department but raises should all be around 3% I would think.
