Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Stock price predictions

It appears we may be headed to the $90s and maybe beyond. How much of this bump in earnings is due to layoffs?

It's pretty funny how we make less and less money, and expenses never really come down, but the stock price keeps going up. Inflation plus buy backs seem like the only things going for the nominal stock price.

the price danced near $80 at one point, before dropping like a rock,

Asset cap to be removed in June and WFC will hit 125 shortly thereafter. Any employees that have been with the company since before sept 8, 2016, will get a 50k cash bonus as a thank you.

Some. It's due to multiple reasons of which most are related.

Inexpensive, buybacks, layoffs, sentiment.
