Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

1/21 and 2/4

Good luck on Tuesday and on 2/4, hopefully it’s a small layoff day. It would be nice to see everyone get a bonus and not be clipped on these next two cycles.

"We su_k?" This comment shows how Wells Fargo turns you into a bully. Many of us are "displaced" because we were at the wrong place at the wrong time. All aspects of this "efficiency" program are capricious. RTO, location strategy, offshoring, and performance reviews are designed to push you to quit rather than wait for a proper severance. Once you get laid off, realize it's this bank that s_cks. This bank is where bullies go to thrive. There are many small layoffs, and they don't all happen on Tuesdays.

After the ordeal, focus on personal recovery. Learn how proper management and team building should be done. Understand the signs of psychological abuse in management and how to heal from it. Good leadership is about fostering an environment of support, trust, and growth, not fear and intimidation. Seek out resources or professionals who can guide you through recovery, whether through therapy, coaching, or community support groups. Transforming this negative experience into a lesson in resilience can lead you to environments where your skills and well-being are truly valued.

If you got let go and it wasn't a Tuesday, it's because you just plain su-k. Sorry. Mass layoffs are Tuesdays.

Sigh.

It doesn't matter. Mine came on a Thursday,,,,,, I don't think there is rhyme or reason to it.

Cheers!

What are you talking about? It’s the Tuesday after payday you dullard! They don’t care if it’s a day after a holiday. No one is making things up and quite frankly it was a positive post wishing everyone good luck until you opened your trap.

There is no 1/21. It's the day after a holiday. Stop making stuff up.
