I've worked at T for well over 15 years and several things I've noticed. 1 - is most - if not all - of the customers I've met and listened to or read about over the years absolutely hate AT&T. They are with T simply because it somehow fits their needs and other carriers don't, or it's too much of a pain to switch. I've never heard a customer sing AT&T's praises and shout how great the company is. 2 - is how bad the customer service is, how poorly customers are treated when they call in or visit a retail shop. If they call in I hear complaints all the time about how the AT&T rep can barely be understood because they don't have a decent working knowledge of the English language, or the rep is rude. If they visit a retail shop I hear complaints about long wait times or rude service reps.
Again, I never hear people tell me they had a good time at a AT&T store.
One of the few times I visited a store as an employee the store rep totally lied to my wife about something just so he could make a sale. Got home and started using the device and found out he lied thru his teeth to us. Not surprising since this young guy was so arrogant and egotistical. I left the store thinking the guy was a total pr--k.
Is this a company people want to do business with? Employees want to work for?
