One of the biggest mistakes was cutting experienced sellers. Does the damage done there seem irreparable to you? Unfortunately, I think that the consequences of that bad decision will be felt even more in the future.

The Summit Program is the root of everything wrong at IBM They made their bed on entitled id--ts who don't even know how to make one. Its great to see it all going to $ h I t.
Not to mention the - perhaps bigger - problem facing IBM from the lack of experienced buyers. Not only do the client mainframe oriented decision makers not have any more technical and sales support from IBM, they also are going extinct as they soon retire or embrace other competing platforms. Writing is on the wall. Our clients know this and same is true for IBM.
