Quantum Peer Feedback

"What's one thing [Name of Colleague] could do better"

Is anyone actually taking this BS seriously? What am I supposed to say? That they suck at answering phone calls? This is stuff that a person's supervisor is supposed to give insight on.

Yeah, here's one thing my colleague could do to improve - telling you HR id--ts to put your waste of time year end feedback nonsense in the same place that you apply preparation H.

I agree it is a waste of time. We have to do it. You never say anything damaging about someone and give similar bs answers. I try to use it as intended and sent requests to people I know will give good feedback and a couple that I know may not. I would personally like to improve which is why I do that. However, the feedback is mostly just the same stuff. No one wants to give someone bad feedback even if you think they are an id--t.

It’s not “optional” for my non bargained group in ACE. It’s mandatory to request the feedback from peers.

For those who have never bothered to read the feedback. How would you know if someone threw you under the bus?

I don't request any and I don't respond to requests. It's optional and either a s*ck-up exercise or yet another way to create a toxic relationship with your peers.

You can keep changing performance review applications, management's bonehead ways of evaluating employees won't change in the slightest. Quantum and the likes are build on an idealized environment where constructive feedback is welcome, personal and team improvements are encouraged and supported. It is a joke at T, the small subset of self promoters will take it as opporutnity write fiction to prop themselves up while the rest of us just don't have any patience to deal with increasing level of BS rolling downhill.

Remember, have my manager talk to your manager first before anything happens or written down. We need to schedule cross-functional workshops and face to face meetings to get this done. HR to fund travel expenses.

This is really beyond the scope of AT&T workers. AT&T should just rank the workers based on how many jobs they completed and see who the underperformers are.

Everyone who could replace me could do better. Fire them, pay me more, and I survive for 4 more years until retirement. Oh, can we report executive team that cost us billions, gave them bonuses, and lowered our bonus? This sounds like HR is looking for targets and next level up wants to pay more to their lunch crowd.

Quantum sucks! Mr. Wonderful will say to take it behind the barn and shoot it. I agree. How much money T is spending on license to use it? I bet a lot.

I've never done it. I receive requests to do them for people but never bother with it. I don't believe I have ever received feedback from a request I have sent out either. Well, if I did, I don't know where to find it and have never read it.

All I ever say is "keep doing a great job".

Meaningless nonsense.

I either ignore the questions or answer with meaningless nonsense if forced to file the form.
