People aren’t looking at the bigger picture. T's future workforce will be burned out and lack motivation. That’s going to hit their results hard, and I can’t see it doing anything good for the company’s financials.

Nope. This is a short term play by Stankey. He knows he's going to sink AT&T. His goal is to increase the stock price so he can cash out, and then watch it all burn to the ground. Look at the job he did at Warner Media. Look up what happened to GE. Look at the lunacy that's happening already with HR. I won't call them bumbling id--ts, because I think the people there are new and untrained and have no idea how to do the job. Why? Most of HR wasn't in the hubs, and then refused to move. It's okay right now because it only really affects those that retired and/or got laid off. Those people aren't important to The Stank anyway. The only person important to Stankey is himself.
It’s not about removing dead weight. It’s about the indiscriminate removal of anyone that will quit. They could care less about talent or tenure. ATT doesn’t provide enough value to the market to sustain any type of growth. Look alike products with woke a-s marketing that is support like sh-t is about as popular as catching VD.

5 days RTO was the final straw that broke employees morale. 3 days made no sense but it was doable, 5 days makes even less sense and makes like twice as hard. Nobody is sticking around for this company, and certainly nobody new will be joining. The culture is purely toxic, and that’s well documented online.

How about they just honor their own policies instead of unethically making working conditions poor so people hate you.

The bigger issue is that the culture the company is creating is not one that will attract the best talent. It does not matter who is here now. What matters is who can AT&T attract to support the new technology or the direction the company is going. When you treat your employees badly you will not keep the good employees that are here, and you will not get the strong young talent going forward.
Your not happy so everyone else must be unhappy too.
