If you have ever received severance I wouldn’t have to explain. But here it goes anyway.
The withholding on this large a-s sum of money was way more than I expected/thought and was much more than 22% even just looking at the federal amount.
Happy? Settle the F down. For someone needing to survive for the next 6 months, it was a lot more withheld than expected, especially in a year without any paid working hours.

Not sure why they would start cutting in North Carolina or Georgia. It has everything Board members should value - business friendly; right to work state with low taxes and booming economy with a highly educated work force. Go figure.
