Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What is it like?

What is it like to go into the office & sit next to an empty cubicle that use to be your co-worker & friend that has been laid off? Are you happy it’s not you? Do you keep in touch? Do you care?

What coworkers? I go into an office where many of the spaces are empty and I collaborate thru phone and Teams anyway. Spaces are generally messy and keyboard are often sticky or messy with food particles. It is a bacteria incubator. This f$7ing company is such a mess.

The people around me change every week due to random seating. I wouldn’t know if they left.

I am actually still full time remote, but keep in contact with several 10+ year co-workers who were displaced over the last 2 years. 100% consider them friends. I am ready if/when I get the 10 AM Tuesday morning e-mail invite.

You actually sit next to your coworkers? Or should I say used to sit next to your coworkers?
