Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

RTO

How long until we follow Chase and require 5 days in office? I am hoping leaders have enough sense that if you aren’t going to give raises hybrid is all we can give that’s meaningful.

@tk+1jjfqgpxc I hope your manager is correct. I heard from both a B2 & B4 that the talk is real.

I was told they are waiting to see how RTO plays out at Chase.

ID: @m5+1jjfqgpxc No, it is consensual; you cannot sue. I'm just messing with you, ofcourse you can.

So when they mandate that I have to RTO and I end up having to sit in my manager's lap (or on his face) because there are not enough seats, can I sue?

ID @hf+1jjfqgpxc, that is a brilliant question; my guess is that in some locations, yes, there will be room for everyone, and no for other locations. Will it be productive? Absolutely not, especially with the new style of hotel seating where you are very close to your neighbor.

We may be in the same industry as Chase but we most likely have different real estate strategies. If everyone gets called in 5 days will there be a seat for everyone?

You clearly still care, given that you've been leaving similar comments under multiple posts.

Don't know, don't care. They let me go a few months back and I couldn't be happier.

I feel sorry for all the folks stuck there worrying about this nonsense. Very blessed to no longer be affected by that level of stress and anxiety. No more Sunday Scaries either!

They will continue to manage headcount downward. They want people to quit, regardless if they lose top performers or bottom feeders. The Fed government admitted that RTO is being used to force attrition. Why would the firm be any different? "Collaboration and Culture" is C Suite-speak for "Too Spineless to Admit The Truth."
