Life insurance continuation with layoff or termination?

For layoffs it sounds like medical coverage lasts throughout the entire severance term. But what about life insurance?

Similar question if it's a termination instead of a layoff. Does life insurance end immediately on your termination date, or is it still good through the end of the month (or last pay period)?

Is your question after reviewing what the Severance section of the Handbook says? Do the Handbook literally doesn’t address?

My experience in calling is that HR will NOT answer any questions about post-displacement. I tried twice during the benefits enrollment. Wondering if I get displaced in 2025 what happens to benefits tied to disability (do I still pay for the benefit)? In both calls they told me that information would be shared once displaced.

Called HR 5 times so far. ZERO problems. Everyone was very polite. And not a single person has sounded (been?) Indian...

calling HR is worse than having your eyeballs dug out with a rusty spoon.
i dont blame OP for asking here. im also displaced and am curious.
when i've had to call HR since being displaced, it is hours and hours of trying to get the indian person to understand what im asking and/or trying to understand them because of their horrible english.
