Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

There are too many cooks in the kitchen

It's impossible to get anything done when you have a near 1:1 ratio of managers to IC's on calls. They just end up wasting everyone's time and su-k the life out of productivity with their constant tangents.

I know of a domestic "tech" team that has a 1:1 team lead to non-lead ratio.

Wells Fargo has been too top-heavy for a long time and reducing efficiency and productivity. In addition, many managers have so much ego and constantly argue with others over childish topics. If they don't like the opponents, they usually say "that's off topic" or "don't go tangent", and immediately dismiss other's point of view. Those narcissistic managers think they know it all and superior to others when they are actually ignorant. Most of them use their quasi authoritative power to abuse others to enhance their personal agenda while they don't do anything to help the company.

Cluster or sh-tshow, it's all the same... less efficiencies.
