Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

ATT will be sold for Private Equity Monetization

You think the gutting is bad now? Wait until this entire thing is sold off and Private Equity gets their arms around it. Watch as ex board and executives get positions in the respective PE firm. Shareholders will get the shaft.

No it's not. The C suite is doing a pump and dumd for their golden parachute. Our stock is a dividend stock and it su-ks at 4 whatever %.

We are not a growth stock (as in price like Tesla / Nvidia / Google for example).

When the price goes up the dividend return goes down because we slashed our dividend. We are like a $15 stock. Amtbody that says otherwise is blowing smoke. Look at this year's quarterly results to the previous year. We are down.

Losing legacy wireline (high cost copper) lowers revenue but also lowers maintenance. They are hoping to lower maintenance enough so getting rid of copper by 2029 doesn't ki-l us.

You don’t think that the C-suite and BoDs already have hooks into TPG, the recipient of a large portion of our discounted assets while T kept the debt? Small minded people around here pound their chest about the bad deals that the Stink made when they are all laughing at the world. It’s an asset laundering scam at its finest. T pays for the assets with our hard earned money and sells to TPG for a great deal while T keeps a large portion of the debt.
