Anyone else get a 20% decrease in their RSU stock this time around? This whole thing is so frustrating and lame!

I always wondered how my performance in the back room dealing with software change requests affected the company share price. Anybody know?
2022 - 80 RSU's
2023 - 80 RSU's
2024 - 80 RSU's
2025 - 65 RSU's
If you make under 100k you will get 65 RSU's like me no matter your band. If you make over 100k you will get 100 RSU's. The more you make the more you get, nice huh. I don't know what you get beyond those income levels. I don't think I will see the day my salary gets to six figures unless I leave.

"Rewarding Success" is poorly named.
Should be called "Rewarding-Future-Value-If-Loser-Management-Actually-Successfully-Manages"

@cj+1jjvvadxs - true, but I stand by the math. 3 years ago I had $33 shares that fell so rapidly to $17 that it was like trying to catch a falling kn--e with my bare hands to try to sell it. Cost me a bundle.
The underlying purpose of the RSUs for the rest of you who are obviously math-challenged, is the intent is to put "skin in the game" for all employees to want the bank to succeed so the share price increases to reward everyone.
Unfortunately, does not seem to work here with the inept loser management team of Brian & Co, but that is how it's supposed to work.
Don't kid yourselves, working "hard" gets you f-k nowehere.
Work "smart" (do less, quiet quit, whatever your gig), but don't do what I did by giving your life and soul to this place.

Btw, B3s awarded 300 shares in '24. Reduced to 240 shares in '25.
But still worth more $-wise. Do the f-ing math.
Same, I got 80 the last several years but 65 this year, as a band 5.
What band are you and how many do you get? B6 = 80 last year / 65 this year
Did you get more awards when the price went down? NO. LOL.

It baffles me that people would argue that due to the share price being higher, our awards have not been reduced. First response to that....pls crawl back out of BTM's azz. Secondly, if the stock is performing better it stands to reason you want to reward your employees more. But apparently not the morally bankrupt leadership of this place.
Problem with the share price to shares granted format is that it takes share price at the current point in time, but does not award the first batch of shares until over a year later. Who knows what the share price will be a year from now. A better reward would be granting the same number of shares each year and then the harder the employees work to help boost the stock price, the more they are rewarded. If everyone gets the projected same $ value YoY then how it is truly rewarding success?
hey - are you guys looking just at the number of shares awarded?
The Total Value will be calculated over a period of certain dates (usually mid Feb, so around 45-46ish per share).
Multiply your Total Number of Shares x Share Price = Total Value of Award.
(you will see the actual Price per Share, which is the same for everyone, in your Grant on March 1)
Guessing about 45ish per share (I always round down, b/c yea, it's BofA), and the Estimate Dollar Amount ("Total Value") is about the same.
They seems to aim to keep the value flat-ish Total Value YoY. But the number of shares may look down b/d the price is up so much.
Shared Success is straight across the population by Band.

If the stock tanks by year's end, will I get a special RSU offering to cover the shortfall? I do not think so. From my perspective as a B6, I have nothing to do with the decisions on who gets how many RSU and how the stock value is impacted. Since I do not get a bonus and my RSU is a measly offering from the company, I can careless about them. Just give me cash so I can pay my bills today since my salary is not as high as most of you.

RSU's "vest" over a specific period, not right now. The value of RSUs is based on the company's stock price when they "vest"
It baffles me the intelligence of those that work at the bank. If you got 120 shares last year at $33 a share and this year you got 100 shares at $46 you got about a 13% increase. 120 shares last year were worth $3900 and 100 shares this year are worth $4600.
Oh and those 120 shares from last year that were worth $3900 are now worth $5500.

100 shares down from 120. I suspect it has to do with the current higher share price.

Yes….. 0 raise 0 bonus for m/m.
Plus, it appears that the print says if you retire, they prorate it so you don't get any earned beyond your separation date, same as if you resign.
But remember, that along with a 0% increase for high m/m means we're a "great place to work!"

All the signs of a troubled company now. When you squeeze out your talent, you’re in trouble somewhere. It’s not worth it to work for Bank of America anymore. Better to hunt them than help them. Believe the time for new management is getting closer and closer..
22% reduction from last year partnered with the 0% merit increase really has my buy in to working hard this year
