Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Wells Fargo raised Charlie Scharf's pay to 31.2M

https://www.bankingdive.com/news/wells-fargo-raised-ceo-charlie-scharfs-pay-31-2-million-2024/738910/

So he receives a 285% bonus and returned $25 BILLION to shareholders. But I guess I should pledge my fealty for my 2% raise and 9% (cr-p) bonus.

Chukles should have received at best an inconsistently meets rating. Miss regulatory mandates regularly, have new issues that pop up on his watch he gets a fkn raise. Meanwhile we all work our @$&es off and it seems by looking at the posts a lot of us got blindsided by inconsistently meets and brings up the one or 2 things we could done better at while our CEO is chillin.

"Charlie here, I’ve obtained all your info based on IP addresses, clean out your desks immediately… also, never mind who I pilfer from"

The only IP address he knows is located in India and Philippines.

I got a 2 and a fraction less than 9. It’s the less I’ve ever seen. Ain’t too worried about it for me, but the senior pay raises ARE ridiculous

Why does he deserve that much money? This guy has not made much of positive contribution to the world, he has been basically stealing from everyone.

Charlie always gets rewarded when he gives more money to shareholders. Nobody cares about our customers or employees.

Received Exceeds on my review and got a 0.7% bonus. Be happy with 9%!

Well, that's just a lie. We are still woefully behind our competition on Rev per employee.

Dude doesn't deserve $3M, let alone $31M. Seriously, other than bad public speaking performances and telling other executives "fire and outsource more people", can anyone name a single thing that Shart has done? Early on he bragged about credit cards, but since Bilt blew up in our faces, predictably, he's beat that drum a little less. This guy is a failed executive. My poodle has more vision and ability to inspire.

Yeah, fu-k this place. We are already making more revenue per employee than the industry average, including overseas workers.

It's wage theft now, but they won't care. They've already extracted most off the wealth from the middle class. We can't even keep up with inflation.

Guess I'll just start slowing down and not volunteer to take any extra work on. It's not worth it.

Ridiculous.
Also can’t wait to hear all of the executives talking about their out of touch lavish travels since they enriched themselves again.
