Yeah I got my bonus and raise numbers last week which were surprisingly decent. I thought that was going to buy me some time to find something else.

No work is allowed during the notice period. 1099 work will make you lose your severance. Just FYI

Ruh-roh - same thing happened to me when I was given the axe. Slim chance that the other person is right, that it is to discuss your raise (however, why move the time for that?) Best of luck - severance was the best thing WF ever did for me.

And just in case you might update workday to get both electronic and mailed copies of paystubs, tax docs, etc as backup. If you have a 401k make sure you have access through your personal email. I’m very sorry should this be the case tomorrow.

nope its not. focus on practical controllables: is your personal email in workday so you can get critical emails? does your teamworks at home account work so you can download annual reviews/w2's / paystubs? have
