Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Caught sleeping in their cubicle.

Actually not caught. I just saw them. I felt bad and left them alone. I wonder what their commute looks like that they are literally falling asleep at their desk. Poor thing was snoring.

Taking a nap actually improves productivity. I highly encourage it.

Dude with short sleeves and a tie used to fall asleep at his desk. He was in tech and sat at the front of the cubicle row. He kept getting promoted.

You guys get cubicles?
Seriously though the configuration in my office makes that almost impossible. I have to slip out to the break room to take a nap

Is it against policy to sleep at work?

One of the benefits of expiring in your company-provided, private cubicle at work is that you'll be granted free transportation to a cool, quiet location for family identification and retrieval. All that's asked is that you provide a continuity plan for your fellow remaining co-workers who choose not to grieve but to avail themselves of any potential opportunities that your absence may afford.

I often fall asleep at my cubicle as my sugar levels spike which knocks me out. Fortunately, it’s some of the most peaceful sleep as I am often the only person in that wing of the building as my team works out of state and country. The only other team that works on the floor is only in the office every other week, so if I pass away or have a medical episode at my desk, it’ll probably also be several days until I’m discovered. Brought this up to management and they don’t care. As long as I’m in the office, that is all they care about. Same goes for when I leave at night after dark when I’m the only one leaving the office and no one is around. Hope I don’t get mugged robbed in the parking lot when it’s dark out.

I recall years ago being told not to wake sleeping coworkers. As I recall, the reason was I didn't know if they had a medical condition of some sort.

Better asleep in the cube than dead in the cube.
