I thought that as time went by, I'd get used to going to the office again. I was wrong. Instead of getting easier as the weeks pass, it's getting worse and worse. I'm growing more and more frustrated and angry, especially knowing there's no good reason for this.

Been the same way myself. Currently working on an assignment that’s assigned only to me. There’s zero chance I’ll be collaborating with anyone on it. But I have to do a long, miserable commute to do it in a noisy office. It’s so pointless and I hate that it’s come to this.

"Start talking about something else."
Nope. I and others will talk about anything we damn well please. There's a really big internet out there. Why don't you find a place more to your liking?
Do the Lenox renovations include dormitories?
A company that sleeps together, stays together.
Your child’s doctors appointment is not a sick day for you!
It’s caregiver.
Maybe it's you.
Ge-z…..you’re still complaining about RTO. Start talking about something else. Our RTO is here to stay.
Things have never been better at T. Loving it.

They just crammed an entire new group on our floor. Our floor was already at capacity, but now it’s a race to get in early enough to get a desk. Like there is no where to sit not even in the common area. It has gotten worse.
“ Not a feeling but a fact.”
Starting at the C suite & onto the excess layers of “VP’s”.
“ And this is what StankFresh wants you to feel like. ”
Bingo!
Those dang employees, just showing up unannounced and unplanned, and forcing their way onto payroll. Certainly not at all a failure of senior leadership
You’re not strong enough to be a quality employee. Best to walk away to some liberal haven. You call all console each other about fairness.
“Accountability for work was always going to be hard after years of part time hours.”
I will never understand why some of you are convinced we aren’t doing anything at home. T gets so much more out of me at home than in the office. When I’m in the office I get there at 7:58 and leave at 5:00. At home I’m logged in and working by 7:15 and most days I work for hours off and on through the evening. My son is also special needs and has frequent appts local to our home so instead of taking half a sick day to deal with commuting and the appointment, I just take an hour and a half. So I’m using less sick time. It also takes way less time at home to use the bathroom or get something to eat. In the office, you better believe I’m taking that full hour. And my breaks which I don’t use at home. At home I eat and just keep working. And we all know how distracting it is being in the office, with all the bs socializing and chit chatting. So much wasted time.
Yes I know there are people that take advantage of it and aren’t working as much at home but are they really working any more in the office? If that’s your M.O., you’re going to find ways to avoid work wherever you are. Is anyone standing over them in the office to make sure they are working? No. So there’s no way to know they are actually doing more.
So while there are people like this for sure, there are more of us that aren’t so please stop assuming we all do nothing at home. When in reality, I’m giving T much less being in the office.
“They feel as though there are too many employees,”
Not a feeling but a fact.
OP-
Your definitely not alone.
Accountability for work was always going to be hard after years of part time hours.
Dont worry, you will not that feeling to much longer, unless you are at one of the hubs.
Good, Let the hate flow through you.
And this is what StankFresh wants you to feel like. They feel as though there are too many employees, not enough money in their pockets, and they want you to quit. People who don't play along with the rules will be warned, written up, and terminated.
