What dollar amount is everyone receiving for connection awards?

Max is $20k a year per one top employee. As an AD I have a $72k budget and I’m told to give in $4k increments
I am L2 and have received $1k connection awards. Max twice a year.

Retention bonuses have been given out to L2’s too. You just won’t ever hear about that from your leaders.
$10K each year for 3 years and IPI before that almost every year.
I got a $15K connection award last year as a L2 from my VP. Those saying that is a lie are being fooled by your leaders. They only have a certain amount in their budget but it doesn't mean they can't give out large awards as long as they stay under the overall budget.
Folks are not lying as I have heard folks getting between 2K - 16K all were L2 and some multiple times in one year so it is happening.

Connection Awards are not the same as the annual company bonus so tend to be between $2k - $5k / award based on job title. A person can get more than 1 per year but they are not easy to get as the budget is generally at the L1, L2 level so if you are an L2 you are competing with all the L2’s in your org.

$0. Almost impossible to get one approved in our org. Yet I hear people getting big ones in other orgs all the time. Even when the person really deserved it and went way above and beyond we can’t get them approved.
Got one 2 years ago but only for $2k. Was happy to get it, but it didn’t cover the amount of work I had to do. Should have been 10x that amount.

that actually makes a lot of sense-- and might explain why on a team like mine that hasn't been given the relocation notice (yet, at least) there were no connections awards in 2024.

First- "everyone" doesn't get them--so I am guessing you're not an employee.
I got a couple of these in 2023 @ $4k each for work on some critical projects.
I don't know for sure, but I get the feeling they were not many/ any awarded on my team in 2024.
The $15K and $17.5K numbers are complete fabrications.
