Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Reviews

I had a performance review with my manager today and another individual who perceives themselves as a manager. It raises the question of why someone without the official title of manager would participate in this review. For approximately 35 to 40 minutes, they explained that this is the new standard: individuals who exceed expectations are categorized as meeting expectations, while those who meet expectations may be deemed as needing improvement. To the individual who lacks managerial authority, I suggest you focus on developing your leadership skills you little fat troll. Additionally, to my manager, I would advise you to assert yourself more confidently.

Your current manager may be leaving. That, or there's another member in your meeting to serve as a witness. Next step from here would be "coaching" sessions, also requiring one witness (usually two managers ganging up on you.) Be extra cautions and document everything. These sessions are eventually used to justify a firing. WF is a terrible company and hope you're able to find greener pastures.

Surprised anyone other than your manager was allowed to sit in for a performance evaluation/review. At a minimum, you should have had to consent to the other person's presence. Feels like there are a few confidentiality issues with that set-up in addition to the loss of trust. Bad move by your manager. If you feel strongly about it, report it

You are correct they were due but I was out of the office traveling, no I was on short term, no it was PTO. Either way they gave me 3-8% bonus and 1- 2% raise. Both gentlemen can take a long walk on short pier.
