Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Why is Stankey so arrogant?

He is a bald, abusive dictator. He has a long track record of poor decisions and bad leadership. Everyone who has worked closely with him has said he believes his own hype and thinks somehow the failures were not his fault.

He had explained the failed acquisitions time and time again. AT&T employees failed to execute on his plan. He accepts no responsibility for any failures.

The Stank has destroyed T. Never should have received 1 promotion. Abject failure paid millions to destroy a major US corporation . The most surreal experiences :

  • The Stank bragging about (outrageously overpaying for DTV) "This transaction is a 1+1=3 opportunity" DTV was hemorrhaging SUBS. Then he mentioned im going to lunch at some boutique restaurant .
  • Randy and the Stank brought in insufferable raging globalist pseudo-intellectual id--t THOMAS Loopy FRIEDMAN to gaslight and tell employees you do not deserve your job. Shockingly the some of Townhall struggle session seal audience AGREED

I think you answered your own question. He's sc--wed up so many times and he compensates with denial. People who are loud also seem to do the same thing. They try to prove their own self worth with authority and belittling others.

He's created this culture problem and won't admit it. Instead he comes up with reasons that only make sense in his own mind.

Because he's bald and he has an insecurity complex because of it. It's more common than you think. google it. He's a classic nutj0b case.

Not only was our stock price at $40 but we own DirectTV and Time Warner too.

Prior bosses allowed his arrogance to go unchecked for years, to the point of no turning back. No one in his DR team would ever dare to challenge him. The board of directors are phoning it in, and do nothing as well.

From college hire to arrogant pompous -ss in 40+ years, that’s quite the accomplishment.

It should also be noted, a couple of years ago, Stankey cut the dividend in half a couple weeks after he lied to the market and said the dividend was safe. That is what caused us to drop from $24 to $13. Stankey now has us back to where he started, with half of the shareholder value.

If you want to know why our stock su-ks and the market doesn't trust us, it is our flawless, all knowing, omnipotent leader, John Stankey, may his farts continue to smell like roses.

T employees gave him the power to act like a tyrant. It's in his DNA to abuse employees. NO ONE IS SAFE.

"AT&T stock again up today. We are beating S&P 500 this year, after we beat S&P 500 last year. FACTS. Big John is making AT&T Great Again. Lets Go T."

T-Mobile: 247.62 (+.45)
AT&T: 24.57 (+.12)

Almost there bro!

We used to trade close to 40

Don't forget how many millions of shares they have bought back in the interim, so the actual number of shares is far lower than when we were at $40. Our market cap barely covers our debt load today.

Most people who get wealthy by robbing others are arrogant.

"He is doing good. Stock price at $24.50. Targets for $30-$32."

Homie, he's doing what Elliott told him and Randy to do years ago. First, fire yourself, Randy. Get out of this failed acquisition, this one and this one. If you recall, they actually liked the fiber and network approach. They hated everything else. pretty sure they also told us to get employees under 100,000. hello, RTO!

Don't be fooled. John wanted T-Mobile. He tells everyone he wasn't part of the Directv stuff but he was our strategy officer. what strategy officer doesn't ultimately agree with a major acquisition like that? he was CEO of Warner Media. And now he wants us all to enjoy 8-5 5 times a week in some shithole workspace that somebody ate their turkey sandwich at and smeared mustard all over the desk the day before.

But you keep defending him ok?

You know it’s bad when some employees get (really) excited over a couple of dollars change on the stock price!

I am so jealous that someone like him is doing so well while I am just getting by. How can I get some?

Mark Twain said it best … “Sometimes I wonder whether (this company) is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.”
