With Bonus payout on Friday 2/14, what day should I give my resignation notice if my last planed work day is 2/28/2025? I don't want them to take back my bonus somehow, so I was thinking of resigning on Friday 2/14 or Tuesday 2/18.

You only need to put notice in writing and it cant be held against you if you give 1 day or 14 days. Just need notice. If you leave without a notice the company has to go through legal process.
The minute it hits your account
i wouldnt resign prior to bonus payout day and might as well wait until the afternoon of tuesday the 18th to see if you happen to catch a severance package on the way out. be aware they if you are going to an industry peer they may force your resignation / last day of work to be the same day as the notification day
2/17. Give them a 4 week notice. They'll probably cut you lose but pay you for the time.
Today. Your bonus is safe.
You should probably give 2 weeks notice so you don’t burn your bridges in case you ever have to go back.
Wait until 3/1. You will receive health insurance until the end of March and as someone else stated, you may get displaced next Tuesday so why risk severence? I was displaced last February after receiving bonus and pay raise.
make yourast day March 3 so you get your PTO accrual for the month and your health insurance will last until end of March. even if you gave notice today you would get your bonus.
Do it Wednesday 2/19. They could lay you off on Tuesday 2/18. Don't risk losing a severance, push it out a day JUST in case.
Would there be a benefit (no pun) to choosing 3/1 over 2/28?
I’m giving my notice on 2/18 for 2/28.
