Did anyone receive a notice about a report where they are checking logged in hours and how much time you spent on meeting vs stayed away, how much time spent on each application etc.,.? My manager was mentioning it in our meeting.

I don't see how they can monitor application usage if you working in your local environment for technology. What is even considered application usage.
Good thing moving a mouse and typing isn't my job.
I can assure you that there is such a report. It's very detailed, and someone mentioned it earlier. But that is how they initially were able to bust the mouse jiggles.
If it is Sapience, good luck with this! Managers will be using it to monitor actual hours worked. You can idwntify those cutting thwir days short or taking long breaks. It tracks all time spent in work applications and which ones. Also personal or private applications or searches (unapproved systems or non work internet usuage). Do not stream! It will cause even those in management to schedule everything in meetings just to account for evey minute even those quick meetings or a casual convo! It is a nightmare!
RE: Sapience games. So should I just schedule a bunch of shill “in case we need it” meetings with others?
With Sapience Analytics being yellow in Teams is not an issue. It reports on your meetings and as long as you have others in your meeting you are fine. If you schedule meetings just for yourself and are away, you will get dinged.
It’s called Sapience Analytics. It’s being onboarded.
It might not be Viva. It's probably another employee monitoring system like Veriato, or one of the other common ones. I forgot about the whole mouse jiggler matter and resulting terminations from a while back.
Does the name "Microsoft Viva" sound familiar? That's sorta close to what the OP described.
They don’t have the skill set to execute this type of reporting. Even if they did it would take years to implement and most likely not even work anyway. I think you are getting fear mongered.
Just use a mouse jiggler
Reading some of the responses, you can always tell who the WF cult members are. WF for life!!! Lol.
"they wfh and just use the bandwidth on the companies connection."
You'll have to 'fisher-price' this for me with puppets and crayons. The 4 years that I worked from home, I assumed I was burning my internet bandwidth for the company. Back then, I did leave my computer on all the time in the off-hours, especially on the weekends, I was able to respond to questions on my way to getting another drink.
no regrets.
Cheers!
Interesting- so if I am actively meeting with people in person and my Teams is yellow then I am a problem. Buy if I am at home and green and not in the office I am part of the problem. Sounds like someone is just tasked with getting rid of people.
OP is probably a disgruntled ex employee who can’t let go of this forum - quite sad really.
Oh gee, this is concerning.

The main RTO attendance tracker does not show this stuff.
I would like to think that the JPMC transplants would be glad to get away from the WADU environment and NOT repeat that type of micromanagement everywhere they go. You know, hire qualified people and trust/manage them to their deliverables?!? Hope that if their teams is yellow that they must be collaborating?!? Use this type of data for known HR cases/abusers?!?
Who cares? If you are putting in the hours required and getting your work done, there should be nothing to be worried about.
They are also considering a Brain Activity Tag to record and transmit activity.
If you fall asleep 9-5, you might be toast.
I see a guy near the toilet watching who is going in and how long they stay there. Don't stay in that place for long. Set your timer.
I did hear they are monitoring Teams for how much you are or not away. I know of two people who this was brought up to - one for being away too long, one for being "green" for too long. What a joke. This place is a complete joke, please please please give me golden ticket so I can escape.
Yes, told that all activity was being monitored for “efficiency”. We’re not told what they were looking for, just that everything we were doing was being watched.
The person who provided the no activity in a 3 hour window was told more than we were.
Yes. They are monitoring your keystrokes and application usage. Those who stay logged in for more than 3 hours without activity will be given a warning and the second time will be a write up, this includes those that don’t log off when they wfh and just use the bandwidth on the companies connection. Changes are coming
