Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Finally done with this place

Stank gets what he wants and so do I. First 6 years of my professional life wasted at this shithole but finally just got an offer for nearly double pay and fully remote in an adjacent industry. Feeling very lucky to be free from Toxic T, and stank gets one more cut headcount, win-win.

Yup. The sad part is that simply reinstating the Medicare bridge, say to 55+ and/or 30+ years would fix the problem at a reasonable cost.

Congrats and good luck. Looking to leave too and it is not easy to break through.

Cr@ppy as your time here may have been hopefully you at least built a decent retirement balance - the 6% match here actually is pretty good - and you showed that you can stick around one place for a little while. Neither of those are bad things.
