Starting a New job start on 3/3/2025. With Bonus payout on Friday 2/14, what day should I give my resignation notice? I hear that companies can try to take back bonus even if it hits bank account.

Two weeks. No more tell them nothing.
Transfer the bonus to a different bank account. Once that's done, a week of notice should be sufficient.
On Monday give a 4 week notice.
Just work both jobs. Then when you feel like it, tell you boss to fu-k off.
agree with others have suggested take pto and start the new job to see if you like it then quit one or the other, wfb doesn’t deserve any consideration as the would pay you off on any given tuesday!
"Do you want to maintain any relationships with people on your team, your management, or colleagues you work with at WF? If you do, please consider how you do any turnover if you give short notice - or none at all."
I agree it's absolutely important to respect those people, but if the employee never plans to return to Wells, then since no one can "officially" give them a reference it really doesn't matter.
don't forget to take your 2 personal holidays before you quit. I'd also schedule them before you give notice because they require manager approval.
Take a 3 weeks vacation to try the new job first to make sure it is the right fit.
3/4/25
Correct. I would take PTO for 1 day and work the new job.
If you like it and they do not rescind the job offer, then resign from WF the next day
3/4/25
2/17 would be two weeks notice. If they have you leave that day and pay you for the two weeks even better.
nothing says you cant have overlapping jobs - and be temporarily overemployed. give notice the day your new job starts and you are certain the offer wont be rescinded or delayed - companies are ruthless about that, you should be too.
You may think you'll never work at WF again, but it is always best to give proper notice to avoid being marked ineligible for rehire
But the issue is that WF most likely will ask OP to leave the same day. Too much of a risk to have OP stick around for an entire 2 weeks.
You may think you'll never work at WF again, but it is always best to give proper notice to avoid being marked ineligible for rehire. It may feel good to leave immediately without any notice. However, I suggest being smart and keeping all your options open for the future. There's no reason to burn bridges and limit your options. Plus you never know when the WF people you burn on the way out end up as hiring managers or influence hiring decisions at companies you want to work for down the road.

You can leave same day as you tell them and not be held against you. When you leave with no notice thats when the
company has to go through legal steps to terminate. As long as in writing you are good.
Give notice Tuesday 2/18. Monday is a holiday.
Wait till direct deposit hits your account. I’m not even sure it’s coming Friday due to what I’m seeing out of HR payroll peeps.
I wish I would’ve just left the same day I gave notice. They made sure not to give me a bonus even though I was an exceeds and told all year long my job would be affected by location strategy.
3/1 - give notice in the AM. And plan to wrap up the same day.
