I changed jobs two months ago, and I’m still adjusting to just how much better things are. It’s almost surreal. I’m still getting used to the fact that no, management through fear isn’t normal, a toxic atmosphere isn’t the default, and if you actually know how to do your job, there’s no need to be micromanaged. My mental health has improved more than I ever expected since I left. If you’re on the fence, give it a try. I guarantee you won’t regret it!

I keep trying and applying but it’s extremely difficult to get interviews. I am hoping that things open up soon. I will even take less money. Being here is like having cancer of the soul.
Congratulations. On an aggressive job hunt and desperate to get out. I’m genuinely trying.
Roger that. Same here. BNY is currently a mess of a place to work. Wasn’t always that way.
Where did you go? How long was your job search? How long were you at bny?
Congratulations! I'm hoping for the same blessing.
