They are laying off 34-36,000 people this year. Why don't they just admit it and made the decisions already.
The cruelty is the point.
The energy Scott is trying to portray is not reflective of what most employees are experiencing on a day-to-day basis. Looking at all the comments in this page, employees are genuinely scared about losing their jobs. Missed opportunity from the top brass to explain and reassure.
