Penn State students want divestment then why are we wasting our time trying to recruit there.

But Penn State football was so good because they had Jerry Sandusky keeping the boys straight. Rub a dub dub boys score those points or it's shower time
Recruiting looks good for the hiring manager. He/She can feel relevant this way in the next performance review in the eyes of his/her sponsor/manager.
Everything management does is self-serving. They do not care about the team, they do not care about the organization, they do not care about the new hire. They only care about their own ranking.
Recruiting in USA does not add to headcount. New hire quit within 5 years at nearly 100%
Recruiting in the US still is just smoke n mirrors since we technically have US based organizations like EMTEC. Keeps the optics consistent for now and HR can squeeze them out later or give them menial US based jobs.
I am also confused with why company is recruiting in the US, unless attrition is much faster than the plan. So to fulfill the metrics, i.e. designed attrition rate, we will temporarily bring in new hires. At least on paper HR will be able to say that translation to KL/BTC was managed according to plan. It sickens me how every few weeks we see new expats brought in from KL. All development focused on outsourcing - no future opportunities for HC10 countries. The best part, the good ones from KL, after they get their ex pat assignment, they quit and move to better employers. KLTC running joke is that EM is a training ground for other companies.
Isn't the company's plan to have minimal foot print presence in the US? Isn't this supposed to be in place by 2026 ?
Why recruit in the US then ?
Bwahaahhhaaaa d bag thinks Penn same as Penn State. Penn is a useless Ivy League school for engineering. Penn State is a very good engineering school and has a much better football team.
You’re and id--t who should be ranked NSI and summarily PIP’d for posting this.
Penn (or University of Pennsylvania; the Ivy League school) is not the same as Penn State. Maybe try learning to read? That might help you improve your language comprehension.
True - don’t. Don’t recruit anywhere.
