Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Will Wells pay us in raise or bonus or both?

How will Wells help out the employees to tackle the cost of living spike? Will they offer more in percentage raises, or more dollars in bonus or a combination? This HAS to be addressed in the upcoming review period. It is too great to be ignored. Anyone know?

I think most can honestly admit there is alot of whining on this message board about compensation. I also think most can honestly admit there are too many free loaders at the company. That said, if the company does not reward their performers this coming bonus season, it will not be good for the organization.

They already jacked up insurance costs and decreased spouse hsa contribution. I'm not holding my breath for more than 3%.

most managers won't have an idea of merit/bonus budget for a few more weeks once comp meetings start up and it becomes a mailable to us in workday to start making our recommendations. But up until late January when it gets finalized and locked, sr Management can will will make their own adjustments.

OP hasn’t been in this company very long obviously. Schart and his OC members only care about lining their own pockets. The rest of us are marks on their balance sheet and they’ll keep their foot on our throats as long as they can

After someone asked Scharf question during Town Hall about helping employees given inflation, Scharf said execs decided to significantly increase raises. (So 3% instead of 2%? cough) He also said that executive leadership was looking into addtl. forms of compensation. IM was buzzing after that Town Hall. You should not say something like that if you don't intend to follow through.

Then, SVB says a few weeks later that only those below a certain level of remuneration would get more $$$.

Get your stories straight, guys. This is our lives we're talking about.

If nothing changes, then it's all LIES. Like it always has been.

I believe the answer to your question lies in their “8 Ways to Beat Inflation “ article.

In other words: cut back on your spending, and get a second job.

Just wait and see. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Policy changes more frequently than underwear. With skidmark results if I might add.

I concur. This company doesn’t care about you. IMO, I believe it was much more caring before the Wachovia merger and the scandals. This might be a longshot, but I suspect the CEO wishes everyone hired before him leaves the company, so that he can start fresh.
From another aspect, speaking personally, I’m in a much better position, in this company, than I’ve ever been. Last year, was my best year, monetarily with the company.
Yet, There are those in executive leadership going to bat for the employees, who are butting heads with the CEO.
Strange times we live in.

If you read your new hire package then you’d know they will pay you in printing access. You get up to one Amazon return label a week.

You haven’t worked here long have you OP? Wells has never given cost of living increases. Cost of living is not their concern. Prepare to be disappointed.
