LCS is a woke bunch of bullsh-t based entirely on taxpayer handouts. I came to ExxonMobil to work in oil and gas not suck on the teet of government handouts of taxpayer money. Pathetic we are becoming the equivalent of welfare recipients. Count me out. There are still companies that are proud to produce oil and gas.

I read all these posts about how incompetent management is and I think “right on”…. Then I read this post and I think if you are so F-ing stupid to think low carbon is not the direction of the WORLD let alone it is needed on a global environment scale and you think it is “woke”, then all I can say is god speed Boomer, because you are absolutely clueless as to reality.

All of this carbon capture and sequestration had been evaluated many times over decades ago. The conclusion thenb was always that it's a total non-starter for a viable business without subsidies. Now the Company is creating this "business line" as a PR stunt fully knowledgeable of this. We'll, ok, get the lobbyists down to DC and keep the subsidies rolling in. We'll partner with the US Federal Government. Should be a great business.
