Question on when direct deposit will be available on Thursday or Friday since it missed Wednesdays cutoff. What time and is that Eastern Time? Some of us are living paycheck-to-paycheck, so the timing is critical!

Don't be rude. Have gratitude that you've had consistent income. Yes, 2 days is a big deal if your Utilities or mobile phone gets shut off or you can't drive to work because you're short on gas money.
Food!!!! Have empathy. I was typically of your mindset too but I've have had challenges I never thought I'd incur.

it's likely just a Wells Fargo thing, perhaps they want to hold onto that money a little extra longer each year to collect interest. I regularly have $10k+ direct deposits that show up early.
And FWIW…the $10k-limit for Early Pay is an urban legend. Nothing in the Deposit Account Agreement states anything about threshold limits for payroll or government direct deposits.
Direct deposit with bonus posted this morning, so good to go now.
you get paid every other Friday so plan to that. Early pay day is a joke and people are so used to it they bet bent out of shape when it isn't early.
Be thankful you get a bonus..try having life unexpectancies and a boss who is targeting you, took your bonus, raise away and tells you are paid lower than rest of peers just to try to get you to quit or manage you out the door. For the first time in over 20 yrs Im starting to feel Im living paycheck to paycheck.

However, now the question is if you will respond and plan for these types of events so you don't have to freak out every time it happens.

As far as the other responses, sometimes an individual financial situation might be totally out of one’s control…especially when a cascading series of unplanned expenditures hit in a short span of time just before payday. I’m already in financial counseling and “doing the work”, but in the words of Socrates, “S**t happens”.
Shouldn't have bet your bonus with Guido on the Chiefs. There are legal sites for less vig.
Early payday applies to deposits under 10K otherwise it is Thursday night/Friday morning.
If it's so bad that two days is ki-ling you, please seek some financial education.
