Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Waste, Fraud and Abuse

I wonder how many AT&T employees are claiming full disability from the government but have full time jobs here?

if any of you dipshats had ever served you would know it is perfectly legal to work with a 100% VA rating and without any income restrictions unless its a TDIU. they even recommend that a veteran try to do some work if they can. some of these comments are downright disgraceful as i wouldnt expect anything less coming from some ATT employees.

Pretty much every retired military general officer retires with 100% disability (essentially full salary, tax free) because they have military physician working under them that are told they can give the big man his disability or he can be posted in Greenland. Lots of scams like that in the service.

My sister worked at USAID back in the 90's and said the amount of waste, abuse and kickbacks was unimaginable as well as how much the executive leadership were paid. Approx. only 10% of donations went to the causes they supported. The rest was in employee salaries, corp events etc. and . She left after a year to work for an NGO that actually does a lot of good.

There are many people working here that have other jobs thet conflict with their primary duties. There are real estate agents that do their side gig while on T payroll and during regular office hours. Looks like their workload at T is really light. They don’t need to be in the office 5 days a week 8 hrs. You will see them driving luxury cars and taking time off for family care almost every week.

You can bet there are many. There has never been a efficient way to catch these criminals.

The Veterans organizations want to make us believe that every veteran on disability is a wounded warrior. The guy trying to get 100% will eventually get it or something close as long as he doesn’t get frustrated and continues the approval process. You would be surprised at the number of folks getting disability for everything from getting hurt fighting in a club to slipping on spilled water in an office setting. Not against these benefits as I have friends and relatives who sustained injuries in combat from the Vietnam to the Gulf war and they deserve them.

That is exceedingly hard if not impossible because both require your social security number and if they see money going in from anything even driving for Uber you get cut off. Now being on a short-term or long-term disability from the company that runs it for AT&T and getting another job that might be easier

“left-wing fraudsters as is on full display from the organized theft on display with USAID.gov.”

No real evidence of this shared. You simply believe it because the orange dumpster fire said it. You must have been one of those who took his advice and drank bleach or tried to shine a light into your body to cure Covid??

The orange dumpster fire is sh1tt1ng the bed and sh1tt1ng on yours.

“Veterans organizations need to start explaining why people can be 100% disabled but still work full time. It makes no sense.”

Shut up! The only ones trying to do anything stupid like that is your left-wing fraudsters as is on full display from the organized theft on display with USAID.gov. Besides that social security would catch that, again, unless they are a dem and they look the other way as they aways do when they define their own rules and laws as they see fit. (pigs)

Yeah my brother was in the Navy 17 years and then took a civilian job. When he finally retired he got his military check and also became disabled. He is not disabled at all. When he has a headache it is the military’s fault and on and on and on. His goal is to get a 100 disability check each month. It makes me sick.

The reality of it all is: nobody really gaf about anyone but themself and maybe one or a few others - even if they have to play the game of acting like they care about you and others - everyone is really just looking out for their own best financial interests.

OP - You’re a delusional idi0t. You and your ilk (including the orange stain) take a <0.1% issue and exaggerate it to such a heightened degree that it takes a life of its own and is used as a deflection against all the real fraud and crimes you support.
