JP Morgan is opening a building in NYC requiring all employees to return to office.

WMT is requiring all their office workers to RTO as well.

This is the new corporate trend.

"You think ai is new? We’ve been automating for years. Guess what? The automation allows us to take on more work. That’s all it does. It’s not capable of replacing humans. Especially not the ai ATT has."

not really, that is basically machine learning done poorly by nano degree participants.

with open ai's new operator agent they are already solving 99.8% coding problems with minimal assistance. therefore it shouldnt be long before a "form" of general intelligemce appears, insiders say at a rate 100x improvement in a very short time.

fyi, T is just now utilizing the power of open ai with their new fraud protection application.

"Can’t lay us all off now without raising red flags"

Well . . . Georgia is a right to work state. Employees not unionized in Georgia can be layed off without explanation or severance. The company will have to pay into the fed and state unemployment fund, and that is about it.

"Exceptions are granted for some employees but not others"

We expect to be told in 2025 to relocate to a Hub. We knew the exemption was temporary.

“The entire Legg org is still only 3 days, same with TDP”

The biggest RTO chest pounding yapper of them all got caught with DEI egg on his face.
Demanding all of us relocate to Georgia hoping we would opt to be laid off but we didn’t. Can’t lay us all off now without raising red flags so he’s stuck with us here with no office space. LMAO!!! Spend, spend, spend that money on office expansion. We’ll be 3 days RTO long after they fire him for this debacle.

Just like every other initiative at at&t! Exceptions are granted for some employees but not others. Why not play it like Wi--y Wonka? Give all employees a candybar, with only a few with a golden ticket enclosed. Those employees would be granted full telecommuting privileges. Honestly, can at&t do anything right? Not that I'm aware of.

March, June and TBD for some groups. They can’t even accommodate part of the company that’s already 5x much less everyone else. Those groups got exceptions due to space and mainly because they were seen as more valuable and harder to replace. They were hoping more people would quit to open up more space. Lots are leaving and it’s a lot of people that they really need to keep, while the deadwood still floats to the top.
