I decided to accept a solid offer I received and not wait here for the package. Severance would have been nice, but the peace of mind of not constantly worrying about the next cuts is priceless. I absolutely understand all those who, despite everything, decide to give up waiting for the package, and I think there are more and more of them here...

Congrats. In my case, I know that I am on the list since I ask my manager and got confirmation so leaving now without a package even if I had an offer would be a bad tactical mistake.
Sure, I want to open the door and run as fast as I can right now but so close to the finish line, I don't see how I could.
Good luck in your future endeavors and I hope you have chosen wisely since there is no real "peace of mind" if you traded one horse for another if you know what I mean :).
