Is the lack of RTO firings due to the high potential for lawsuits for the firings being inconsistent?
If you're going to fire one employee for no other reason than RTO non-compliance, wouldn't you have to fire every employee that violates RTO in a similar fashion?
Wells obviously can't shed that many people in a short period of time, no matter how overstaffed some formula says we are.
The more times that passes, the less reason I see to continue RTOing.
As far as bonus being affected...meh. Bonuses at Wells are diminishing anyway. Not to mention not worrying about making a bonus combined with not worrying about RTO, and suddenly the once-yearly post-tax bonus amount doesn't sound like a big deal anymore.
Compare that post-tax bonus amount with daily stress and expenditure of pointless RTO + the stress you feel trying to keep up with making your next bonus everyday, all year long.
I really don't think RTO was well thought out, and it's not just because I don't like RTO.
