Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

It's as if nobody cares about quality anymore

I'm really glad that someone mentioned it - training new hires for the skills that they were supposed to have. I don't even know how some of them got here if they didn't meet the requirements. I was amazed how incompetent some of the new hires are for the positions they were hired for. What's the problem? Does EM even care about quality anymore?

@1pse+1jmUF6d8 Right on! We neEd to bring back the kind of competency that only comes from inheriting $400M. Why oh why doesn’t that other half of the country see the error in their ways?? Reality TV star is clearly a better competency than 40 years of direct experience.

No talent is needed when oil prices are at $100.

The real talent is needed when oil prices collapse to the twenties. Wait an see what happens to EM when we get to the low price environment.
