I am hearing a rumor for evernorth that there’s a directive to cut 15% across the board by end of March and if that doesn’t tip the scales more will come in June. Has anyone else heard similar?

I don’t know about 15% of resources. We have been told to cut 10% of portfolio funding immediately. That means some projects lose out…
I do apologize for the earlier post and did not mean to offend. I can’t delete it but am sorry for it.
I do hope that unhappy folks will seek other employment. I have friends being affected by Doge and some by this topic. It’s never easy.
Best wishes to all.
Protecting you from abusive employers? Are you a small child without mommy protecting you any more? It isn’t the government that will save you. It’s YOU.
Go find another job if you are so unhappy. Life is way too short.
"If you think the Trump administration is going to do anything to help regular people you’re smoking some really good stuff."
Seriously. The only thing the Trump administration is doing about this situation is shutting down the federal organizations that work to protect us from abusive employers.
“The only hope to stop this is the Trump administration hitting them hard with penalties.”
Thanks for the laugh. If you think the Trump administration is going to do anything to help regular people you’re smoking some really good stuff. They only care about funneling even more money and tax breaks to billionaires and huge corporations and eliminating any oversight of them.
Is the layoff day going to be March 13th?
My mgr has asked everyone under to list out projects and things they are working on. Said higher ups have asked for it.
At least one team in DDA&E is being told to commit code three times a day. Sounds like a set up to annoy good developers and PIP the rest.
I don’t have any details other than what I shared. I heard the rumor and came here to see if anyone can validate it.
Coach layoffs happened on 2/20. We were not told how many. But higher ups felt the need to do damage control and give us a heads up because the news would get to us anyway. So it must have been a lot. I guess more cuts are expected according to this post.
They were not given a time frame of exactly when…was just told sometime this year. Could be next month or 6 months from now. It’s so vague at this point. More questions than answers…
Anyone who thinks that the Trump administration is going to help us is cooked
What is the time frame of the lay offs? In health coaching. Is it going to be March, April, or just each month.
Approximately how many people would be cut?
How did you hear about this directive
If they count the divestiture toward that total figure it may be less remaining people laid off than the 15% seems.
Definitely laying off Health Coaches later this year.
With full severance? I think 2 out of 3 people on this board would take it in a heartbeat. But I have a feeling they know who they want to keep.
Not shocked…heard just today that health coaching will be drastically reduced over this coming year.
Are they going to have Voluntary Resignation Program like UHC? I think they can reach 15% goal if they have that program. Just curious
The company is focusing on ramping up HIH for a reason, replacing American employees. The only hope to stop this is the Trump administration hitting them hard with penalties.
Why did you include no relevant details? 15% since when?
15% across all locations or just the US? Would not make sense to drop across all locations when they are hiring heavily in India.
What do you mean by tip the scales? Is there some specific $ or number goal you've heard?
